Senior Project Manager
Role Objective
This role will see an experienced Project Manager with expertise in legal/contract interpretation, implementation, and data management to spearhead a strategic 2 year project within our organisation. This role requires a strategic-minded project manager who can anticipate future trends, identify opportunities, assess risk, and formulate plans over a two year period for the future implementation to achieve project objectives effectively over the project’s lifecycle. The role will require collaboration with key subject matter experts and to integrate outputs into clear policies which meet the needs of the business.

Contract: 2 Year Fixed Term Contract
Location: Newtownmountkennedy (or by agreement)
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of this two year project, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and strategic priorities.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, incorporating legal/contractual, and data considerations into the project plan.
- Deliver timely and accurate reporting on project progress to senior management and other key stakeholders
- Effectively manage external advisors to ensure advice is of the required standard, delivered within expected timeframes and with a focus on cost management.
- Conduct comprehensive legal analysis and risk assessments, anticipating potential challenges and proactively developing mitigation strategies.
- Oversee, with the project team's assistance, the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data, providing actionable insights to inform decision-making and drive project outcomes.
- Establish robust project governance structures, monitoring progress, and performance against strategic milestones and KPIs.
- Anticipate and manage changes in project scope, schedule, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and objectives.
- Foster collaboration and cross-functional teamwork, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive project success.
- Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance project delivery processes and drive operational excellence.
- Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to project team members, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and professional growth.

Desired Technical / Professional Competencies
- Education and Experience: 3 - 5 years of Project Management experience, preferably with commercial exposure and proven track record of successfully leading complex projects in a senior project management capacity. Experience working in highly regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or government is advantageous.
- Legal Expertise: Expertise in legal principles, contract interpretation and implementation, and regulatory compliance, with a demonstrated ability to navigate legal complexities and mitigate risks is advantageous.
- Project Management: Advanced project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
- Analytics: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
