Commercial & Conveyancing Solicitor

Role Objective

As a Conveyancing solicitor, based in the Commercial Team, you will be response for commercial, conveyancing, property, energy and land related transactions and general legal services within Land Solicitors to support and implement the Land Solutions strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Processing property acquisitions, sales and transfers of land and property transactions being entered into by Land
  • Providing timely and accurate legal advice to the Energy, Strategy, Sales and Acquisition teams within the Commercial
  • Preparing transactional documentation (contracts, options, leases, easements, licences and closing documentation).
  • Engaging with External Solicitor firms when processing transactions on behalf of Land
  • Dealing with ad hoc queries of a legal, quasi legal or regulatory
  • Being part of and offering support to the wider Land Solutions
  • Advise on a full range of commercial, property title and conveyancing issues and undertaking title due
  • Attending to the registration and record keeping of all property
  • Liaising with the Title Researcher to ensure the records of the Coillte estate remain up to
  • Ensuring compliance with all internal Coillte
  • Provide advice and support in relation to regulatory issues and approvals, company law and governance
  • Provide support to Coillte Group to ensure delivery of Coillte’s overall commercial strategy.

Desired Technical/Professional Competencies:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 to 5 years relevant post qualification experience in a firm or in-house.
  • Experience in Property and Conveyancing.
  • Experience in Renewable Energy an advantage.
  • Experience in Commercial matters an advantage.
