Emergency Works in Ticknock

Emergency tree felling along main road to the masts

Due to a number of incidents of trees blowing down across the main road in Ticknock, it is necessary to remove additional trees either side of the road over the next few days.  This is to ensure the road is not blocked for access to the masts and to ensure everyone's health and safety, especially at this time of year when we experience frequent winter storms.

The area will be replanted with native trees this Spring.

Please take care during operations and follow signage and Coillte staff directing traffic.
