3 looped walking trails in the forest cater for easy walking.

The Woodland Loop (1.5 km, 30 minutes, easy, green markers) is a lovely short looped walk in and around an old woodland setting, taking in the picturesque woodland setting of both broadleaf and conifer trees. It is very popular with families and young children.

The Lime Kiln Loop (2.8 km, 45 minutes, easy, blue markers) is a medium length looped walk around Summerhill Demesne and along the way you get to see the ruins of the old lime kiln.

The Water Course Loop (4 km 1 hour, moderate, red markers) is the longest of the 3 looped walks in Summerhill. It follows some of the old water features from the estates time, you will also get to pass the lime kiln on the way.
